What Is Feminism For Today?
A great question. But one that cannot be answered for it means completely different things to different people. It always has and always will. Today, it is just a rallying cry for women to pronounce they are strong and independent, while at the same time asking to be treated differently for they are weak and vulnerable.
Feminism is not about equal rights, but gaining special rights. Who can blame them? We all want to be treated special and have extra benefits – I know I do. Hidden players in this game are weak pathetic men who use their support of this movement to gain access to women and curry favour with them. A clever mating strategy for beta males. Feminism cannot exist without the support of men. If they ever say 'no more of this nonsense' then feminism ends that day and we can start to rebuild our society around mutual respect and cooperation – not blackmail, guilt and shame.
I can hear people shouting that women do not have special rights in the UK. What about paid maternity leave, abortion on demand and female-only shortlists for MPs? I am not saying if these special rights are good, fair or beneficial – but they do exist.
Feminism has simply become the social justice version of St Paddy's Day – everyone celebrates this commercialised holiday for it is socially acceptable. There is no cultural appropriation when it comes to white people's traditions or holidays. You do not need to be Irish to celebrate or to know who St Patrick was and why he is the patron saint of Ireland. The day arrives, you wear green, and get pissed – presumably, because the Irish are alcoholics?
Let us contrast this with International Women's Day. This female social justice day comes around every year for everyone to celebrate. Another successful year because we have women in the world – hurray! People express their love of women and criticise the unfair treatment they suffer across the world. The day has to be seen through the eyes of a globalist social justice warrior for there is nothing to complain about in the UK. People have no knowledge of women's lives across the world, except for the screams of child marriage, genital mutilation, and honour killings. Who is not against such uncivilised practices? I am sure that our quaint tea & cake events to celebrate the day must help somehow. They probably send shivers down the spines of the foreigners who force their children to marry, mutilate their daughters, or even murder them. The power of cake! Mr Kipling would be proud.
Today, feminism is celebrated by pop bands who educate us on 'girl power' while dressed as strippers, and some release sex tapes in the hope of instant fame. We have businesswomen shouting about being a 'boss bitch' while selling themselves online at Only Fans. We have women's sports rammed down our throats as entertainment and yet no one watches it, especially women.
The corporate world now has a huge say on what feminism is – the old Marxist feminists must be turning in their graves. They have repackaged it and sold it back to women who buy it with their capitalistic earnings. A perfect synergy of hypocrisy and foolishness.
- Be a kick-arse feminist by using specially designed female-only razors to remove leg hair so you can feel powerful, independent and desired by men at the same time.
- Be a feminist icon by drinking expensive pink gin with your girlfriends and showing men you do not need them to have a good time.
- Be a caring feminist and save the planet by buying eco-friendly beauty products.
Feminism is not just about selling unimportant stuff to gullible women so they feel special, it is also about important topics that affect everyday women in their everyday lives.
- Feminism encourages teenage girls to have their breasts removed so they can be who they want to be.
- Feminism encourages young women to embrace job opportunities in prostitution and pornography for it is empowering.
- Feminism encourages women to prioritise their careers ahead of their children who must be looked after by strangers.
- Feminism convinces women to believe that they will never be good enough, so have to be more masculine.
- Feminism kills unborn babies so society can be more peaceful, kind and tolerant.
If you disagree with the above then tell me what feminism is about today. Where are the injustices to fight? Where is the inequality that affects women? What rights do women not have?
Like all social justice movements, initially, some genuine concerns needed to be addressed. We all want to live in a fairer society. Red flags can be seen in social justice movements when the goalposts move, such as Stonewall suddenly fighting for Trans rights after gay marriage was legalised. The feminists did the same by going global for they had run out of road in the UK with no issues to fight and a lack of support from women.
Social justice leaders never want to stop fighting for it is what defines them. Some do not want to lose funding and their salaries. Others continue for it is all they know how to do.
We need to encourage, and maybe even force, charities and social justice movements to end when they have achieved what they set out to achieve.
