I cannot be the only one to have noticed that we have a plethora of weak men in our society. They seem to be everywhere. In the office, chatting on TV, and strolling around the streets seeking out a soy latte.
When I say weak, I do not necessarily mean weak in physical strength, but this is a characteristic of such men. I mean weak in terms of masculinity and the ideal of a real man. They seem to have opted to be inferior versions of women. There is nothing wrong with being a woman, they are amazing creatures and hold the key to new life – they are semi-divine. But who in their right mind wants to be an inferior version of anything?
I have a problem with men who are too feminine, too girly, and too touchy feelie. I do not mean gay men unless they hit the above criteria. I mean heterosexual adult men who moisturise, cry at films, and want everyone to be kind to each other. These gents are usually feminists, vegan/vegetarian, socialists and unhappy.
Allow me to explore why this may be happening and why it is bad for society and us.
Is it a lifestyle choice or has society laid the tracks for men to follow to reach this destination of over-feminisation? What are we doing that produces so many disappointments? Could it be something in the water? We add fluoride to our water supply, what else do we add?
Over a quarter of a million UK women take the contraceptive pill daily. Most of this drug leaves the woman's body in her urine and is flushed down the toilet. It is estimated that up to 90% of the drug leaves the body this way. This is a huge problem for sewage plants which are not designed to remove pharmaceuticals from water.
The findings of a study in the journal Aquatic Toxicology are interesting. Fish exposed to 5 nanograms per litre of Ethinylestradiol (found in contraceptive pills) produced fewer offspring than those that were not and gave birth to more females than males. Ethinylestradiol has been found in streams at levels higher than 60 nanograms per litre. Previous studies have found oestrogen (female hormone) in water leads to male fish developing ovaries and other female characteristics. This hormone can also enter waterways as a by-product of animal farming.
If these chemicals affect fish, then what is it doing to men? Can chemicals related to female development affect the physical, mental and emotional well-being of men?
In 1992, a study found a global 50% decline in sperm counts in men over the previous 60 years. Subsequent studies have confirmed this finding. Some studies show a link between this dramatic fall and traces of the contraceptive pill in drinking water. This is not the fault of women, for men invented the contraceptive pill – just another little thing men did to improve the lives of women.
If hormones in a man's body change, it can cause his breasts to grow. This is called gynaecomastia and is caused by an imbalance between the sex hormones testosterone and oestrogen. All men produce some oestrogen but higher levels of testosterone stop the oestrogen from causing breast development.
What about other chemicals that could be having an effect? Bisphenol A is found in some plastics used to make food containers, bottles and coatings in tin cans. US scientists say this chemical has an even larger effect on sperm than the contraceptive pill in drinking water.
What about the trendy foods we choose to eat, could they be turning men into women? Maybe. Have you heard of the derogatory term, Soy Boy, used to describe the type of men I am discussing? Men who prefer healthy, trendy plant-based food, instead of real man food with fat, blood and gristle. Is too much soya partly responsible for the over-feminisation?
Part of the problem with soya is it is now an over-processed, chemically enhanced gue made in factories to exploit the nativity of the foolish. All processed food is trash. But soya does have some secrets that few people know about.
It contains isoflavones, which are converted in the body to phytoestrogens, which are similar to human oestrogen. In one study, feeding male rats high amounts of soya led to abnormal growth of breast cells. The jury is still out on soya and the effects it may have on men. It would be interesting to know if soya is adding to our problem, causing it, or having no effect.
Society can also influence male behaviour. It has done so by denigrating men for over half a century. Masculinity has been deemed the problem regardless of the facts - it is toxic, evil and must be destroyed. Men cannot sit on a bus without being accused of man-spreading, or correct a woman in a discussion without it being man-splaining. Who in their right mind would want to be a man in today's world?
Men are handed all the negatives by society, yet none of the benefits. Men die earlier and pay more taxes. Men are murdered and assaulted in higher numbers. They are more likely to be in jail, unemployed, homeless, rough-sleeping, alcoholic, drug addicted, and lose contact with their children. If this is male privilege then most men would rather opt out. Do we wonder why some men now want to be women? It must be better than being a man. The ones who do not want to change sex usually kill themselves at three times the rate of women.
From where I am standing, being more like a woman is advertised as the answer to all men's problems. Men need to talk about their feelings. Men need a work-life balance. Men need to stop competing. Men need to reject masculinity and get in touch with their feminine side. Men are constantly told who to be, women get to choose who to be.
I have also noticed that weak men usually vote to the left of the political spectrum - socialists. Scientists from Aarhus University in Denmark have shown that physically strong men are more likely to take a right-wing stance. While weaker men support the welfare state and support for economic redistribution. This is the classic survival strategy of 'I keep what I kill' versus 'I am unable to kill, so let us share'. The researchers found no link between physical strength and redistribution opinions among women.
Why is any of this a problem? Why should I care if men want to copy female traits? I am a big believer in allowing adults to do what they want as long as it does not harm anyone else. And here lies my problem. Weak men are harming society which will lead to its downfall. Surely, I am exaggerating?
Would we have had the grooming gang rapes if we had real men in the home protecting their families? Or real men in the police who put duty, not a career, as their priority?
Would we have an energy crisis if real men were in government planning for our future? Instead of spouting the lunacy of the green agenda which relies on singing kumbaya, holding hands and dancing with the earth Goddess.
Would we have an immigration problem if our politicians and civil servants were more concerned about doing what the public wants? Instead of being concerned about how they are perceived and if they are popular on social media.
Men are designed to be protectors and providers of the tribe, not social workers or celebrities.
When the evil horde is camped at our gate, and it will at some point, who do you want standing between you and the savages? A man with lovely manicured fingernails who freely expresses his feelings and worries? Or a man who will fight to the death to protect you because he understands his life is not as valuable as the tribe's survival?
You know the answer. I know the answer. We all know the answer. If this gate cracks open today, we are in huge trouble.
