The Holy Trinity of Wokedom
The western world is in trouble, it has been this way for a while. Since the end of World War II, we have seen the ever-increasing rate of the demise of traditional values and social norms. The fact that society has changed is not the issue for societies constantly change, just like the climate. It is the speed of this change which is concerning and is leading to our issues as a country.
Children thrive when they have clear rules and boundaries, adults are the same. Life is complicated, hard work and unpredictable. Every decision we make can have millions of outcomes, it is not possible to contemplate them all without going mad or never making a decision again. Without rules that everyone understands and follows, the default position for society is to prepare for violence. This act usually triggers violence in others. Failing countries do not sink into a quagmire of peace and harmony, they sink into violent disorder. Remember the film, Mad Max?
To stop this decline we have developed cultural traditions and social norms – and ultimately, the law. These frameworks allow us to navigate through life for we know what to expect as a result of our actions. It makes life easier, less stressful and more manageable. When I buy a tin of tuna I know it will be tuna inside. When I drive my car I know the vehicles coming from the other direction will not be on my side of the road. At the end of every day, I know where I am going to sleep.
The woke have a dream. It is a good dream where everyone lives in an equitable world with no oppression or hurt feelings. It may sound childish for it is, but nonetheless, it is not a bad aim in itself. Remember that Hitler wanted to kill all the Jews and the Vikings wanted to rape and plunder – we have seen worse aims than those of the woke. But not all that glitters is gold. Unintended consequences can be worse than the Nazis or Nordic marauders.
What is the Holy Trinity of Wokedom? We have Critical Race Theory, Queer Theory, and Gender Ideology. They combine to form the sides of the triangle of destruction, also known as progressivism.
Critical Race Theory is an anti-racist way to view society and all personal interactions. Unfortunately, the word 'anti-racist' simply means 'racist'. People have been bamboozled by this theory for a long time because no one wanted to be called a racist. But BLM did us a favour a few years back and brought it all to the fore, and now we know it is all a scam - #BlackMansionsMatter. Our disdain for racism has been turned against us and used as a weapon by black feminists.
Queer Theory came straight out of post-modern departments in universities. It is promoted by people who do not understand it in the hope it makes them look intelligent. It promotes the idea that the world is unfair to people who do not fit into the social expectations of society, hence, the term Queer. They piggybacked the gay rights movement until they were ready to take it over and push their agenda - this entailed abandoning traditional homosexuals. They promoted new in-groups and demanded acceptance, such as trans, paedophiles, 2-spirited and obese people. 'No LGB without the T' is a clever way of saying 'we have you captured and you are going nowhere for we intend to exploit you further'. Everyone who supports and promotes this theory is a self-declared feminist.
Gender Ideology is the new trendy version of old-fashioned feminism. It may seem new but it has been with us since at least the 1960s, if not earlier. This ideology now feels secure enough to move away from its foundational lie that feminism wants 'equality'. The truth is that it is purely about diminishing masculinity so that feminism can rule in its place. This movement has always been a power grab by white, bored, educated, ungrateful, middle-class women. It has been assisted by weak men who hope to be rewarded with access to sex. The old ideals of men and women being equal have been dismissed for a new mantra that states that there is no such thing as a man or woman. These terms are seen as social constructs, meaning they are simply made up like Father Christmas. This is why followers of this ideology only have a silly answer to 'What is a woman?' - 'Anyone who identifies as a woman'.
What do all three strands of this lunacy have in common? Feminism. That is not to say that all feminists are signed up to this strain of Wokedom for some are not. Radical feminists are fighting back against gender ideology for their hatred of men is too strong to accept a trans-woman is a woman. They may come to the correct conclusion, but the logic they use to get there is all wrong – this is why teachers always want to see your workings out on a maths question.
The woke problems we face today are not new, they have been around for a hundred years just less significant. The real difference is that today we see the outcomes of such problems all around us. Increased racial tension. Gay acceptance backlash. Men rejecting relationships. Women are more unhappy. Whatever societal improvements the woke are fighting for, it is not going to plan. But of course, the gold-plated excuse of white, straight men are to blame is still very popular.
If men can be women because they say so, and young women can chop off their breasts because they say they are men, then how do we communicate with each other within an acceptable social etiquette? Or is it best not to try?
If you are terrified of being accused of racism, then is it best not to speak to or engage with a black person? Do we need segregation so people of different races can be among their own kind? Was this not what continents and countries delivered before immigration?
If you accept that two men penetrating each other are none of your business, then should you feel the same when a 50-year-old paedophile is penetrating a consenting 11-year-old?
Our society was never perfect. It has always been in need of change, reform and improvement. These have been carried out, for the most part, by small tweaks to the system that caused minimal waves and maintained the integrity of the system. But today, we have the opposite approach. Huge changes are implemented too quickly with the aim of bringing down the system so a better one can be built.
It has taken thousands of years to reach the heights we find ourselves living in today. We have finally reached nirvana. This is a utopian dream. Our panacea was delivered by those who went before.
But let us stop everything and have a rethink about our society. Why? Because a fat, blue hair, twenty-year-old lesbian thinks it is not good enough and wants us to try again.
How about we all say NO, and go back to improving our society tweak by tweak?
